Gold Filled consists of 2-3 thicker layers of solid gold which is mechanically bonded or pressed using heat to fuse the gold layer and the underlying base metal (brass, copper or other base metals) together. As two or three thick layers of gold cover the base metal inside, the jewellery is long lasting and protected from tarnishing and discolouration.
